Hardware Specialist (m/f/d)

Full time — Dresden or Remote

Develop technologies in the Green Tech area as a Hardware Specialist (m/f/d) with embedded software skills.

You are a hardware specialist (m/f/d) with passion, but you are also interested in software development? Wonderful! As a creative and tech-savvy solution finder you’ll fit perfectly into our team.

Since 2014, we at NOVUM have been making batteries calculable. With patented hardware and artificial intelligence, we can provide precise information about the condition and service life of energy storage devices. For this, we were even named High Tech Startup Europe in 2017!

These are your tasks:

  • Dimensioning, calculation, simulation, evaluation and specification of electronic circuits.
  • Creative circuit development, e.g. with KiCAD.
  • EMC-compliant layout design and commissioning including functional tests.
  • Hardware-related software development, e.g. C/C++, CMAKE and Gitlab.
  • Extension, optimization and maintenance of NOVUM firmware.

You don’t have to know all of this yet. We’ll show you how it works!

 

What you bring:

  • You have a degree in technical studies (electrical engineering, mechatronics or comparable studies).
  • You have knowledge in the area of software development and can create simple scripts in Python.
  • You enjoy working as part of a team.
  • You also show initiative and work independently.
  • You enjoy learning.
  • You are a problem-solving enthusiast.
  • You have good German and English skills.
