What you bring:

• Completed studies in electrical engineering, mechatronics or a comparable field
• Sound knowledge of electrical engineering required
• Experience in data processing with Python and Pandas
• Ability to visualize data with various tools
• Battery knowledge is a plus — if you don’t have it, we’ll teach you
• System understanding: A battery is not an isolated element — you understand the interaction of the various components
• You recognize patterns and deviations in the data
• You know the difference between correlation and causality and can analyze anomalies

These are your tasks:

• Analysis of battery storage systems — especially in detecting and understanding cell defects.
• Carrying out data exploration, cleansing and visualization to identify anomalies and sources of error in battery systems.
• Application of statistical and other methods (e.g. machine learning approaches) for pattern recognition and evaluation of battery conditions.
• Documentation of your analyses in clearly structured reports including visualizations and conclusions.
• Working closely with the team to develop robust diagnostic procedures for battery systems.
